Huish Education Services is seeking a reliable Catering Assistant to join the team at Richard Huish College to provide a high-quality service to students and staff. The role requires experience in a food service environment, excellent customer service, and flexibility.

Hours are 08:30 to 14:30, Monday to Friday (30 hours/week, term-time only, 38.8 weeks per year). The hourly rate is £12.71 with an annual salary of £16,929.

• Preparing and serving food and beverages.

• Adhering to health and safety and food hygiene procedures.

Experience of high standards within a food service environment in a commercial or similar environment, excellent customer service skills and an ability to work flexibly are all essential for this role.

This role would include:

• Preparing and serving food and beverages
• Operating the till and adhering to cash handling procedures
• Always providing excellent customer service to students and staff
• Completion of logs for allergens, temperature, food prep, food transportation, cleaning and wastage
• Ensuring the service areas are clean and tidy
• Ensuring health and safety regulations and the company food hygiene procedures are always adhered to

• Actual Salary: £16,929 PA
