Exemplar Health Care is seeking a Catering Assistant at Meadowcroft care home in Sutton-in-Ashfield. You’ll support the Chef with food preparation, help set dining tables and keep the kitchen clean, ensuring a positive dining experience for residents.

In this role you’ll work as part of the catering team, adhere to food hygiene standards, and interact with residents to tailor menus. The role is part-time, 20 hours per week, at a rate of £12.71 per hour, with the chance to grow your skills and

• Experience with basic food preparation and kitchen hygiene.
• Ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Understanding residents' needs to help plan meals.

Responsibilities

• assisting with basic food preparation
• keeping the kitchen clean and tidy including washing up, cleaning freezers and mopping floors
