Tofollow food & beverage handling procedures, in accordance with national andlocal regulations.
Undertakestock management, receipt and delivery of stock, reporting any discrepancies ordamaged goods to Supervisors.
Maintainthe appropriate knowledge and skills to safely and effectively perform all food& beverage tasks.
Maintain a clean, tidy and hygienic appearance. Ensuring that the appropriate protectiveclothing is worn at all times.
Distribution, delivery and service of food andbeverages to wards and departments.
Ensuring all equipment, working areas, includingstorerooms, refrigerators and freezers are kept in a clean and hygieniccondition and that good hygienic practices are established and maintained atall times.
Carry out any other duties which are deemed reasonableand in line with the banding of the post.
Providing a food & beverageservice including catering for special events to patient, staff & visitors.
Preparing, assembling and packingmeals for patients and staff.
Collection,segregation and disposal of waste materials, in accordance with policies.
30 hour vacancy, working hours - 10am till 4:30pm over 7 days (predominantly working Mon to Fri with the expectation of weekends working when required)
The role is based in the production area working within cold conditions frequently.
