Position: Catering Assistant

Care home: Adswood Lodge

Location: Stockport, SK3 8HZ

Contract type: 40 hours per week (Including weekends)

Rate: £12.21 per hour

In this role, you'll help the Chef prepare and cook food for the residents, set dining tables, and keep the kitchen clean.

About The Role

Our Catering Assistants prepare delicious, nourishing meals for people with various dietary requirements. Responsibilities include:

• Assisting with basic food preparation
• Keeping the kitchen clean and tidy, including washing up, cleaning freezers, and mopping floors
• Cleaning and sanitising all tableware
• Understanding residents' needs and preferences to help develop suitable menus
• Interacting with residents to gather feedback on meals
• Complying with food hygiene standards
• Working as part of the wider Catering Team

You will put people at the heart of everything you do, and your efforts will be rewarded.

If you haven't worked in the care sector before, we will support you with induction, buddying, and ongoing training.
