Are you a passionate Catering Assistant? If so, we’d love you to join our fantastic Catering Team supporting our schools within the Sheffield area (mileage is covered)!

This role sits within our Education division – catering for students. We're dedicated to providing high-quality, nutritious, fresh, and sustainable food for our younger generation, supporting a healthy diet. What you'll be doing...

Responsibilities:

1. Assist the cook in producing hot and cold food according to menu requirements.
2. Monitor portion control to the required standard.
3. Set up and dismantle the dining area.
4. Wash up and perform related tasks.
5. Ensure the responsibility area is clean and well-presented.
6. Maintain high standards of personal and kitchen hygiene, Food Safety, and Health & Safety, complying with statutory regulations.
7. Keep up-to-date with menu and special offers to provide relevant information to customers.
8. Adhere to COSHH, Food Safety, and Health & Safety regulations; report incidents as per procedures.
9. Undergo training and apply it within the unit.
10. Perform any other duties required for the effective running of the unit.
11. Follow reasonable requests from the Unit Manager or company, including covering staff at other units as needed.

Additional Information:

Elior is committed to safeguarding children and colleagues. Shortlisted candidates will require an Enhanced DBS check, including the Children's Barred List, and two suitable references.
