Job summary

Berkeley Scott Recruitment are seeking experienced Catering Assistants to support Impact Food Group across schools in Staines. Roles follow term-time schedules with school hours, letting you fit shifts around childcare needs and other commitments.

You will assist with food preparation, service and basic kitchen duties in a school setting; weekly pay and ongoing temporary work offer regular hours and the chance to build long-term relationships with schools and the agency.

Qualifications

• Previous catering experience preferred
• Food Safety qualification preferred or willingness to complete
• Enhanced DBS with child barred or willingness to obtain

Responsibilities

• Supporting Chef/Catering Manager and kitchen teams
• Assisting with preparation and service of hot and cold food items
• Assisting with food service for children and liaising with teachers and care workers
• Operating tills and handling payments where required
• Clearing down and closing units at the end of shifts
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
• Following food safety and allergen legislation at all times
• Ensuring service areas are clean, organised and well stocked
• Working closely with school staff to deliver efficient service

As a Catering Assistant, your duties will include:

What We Are Looking For In Our Catering Assistants
