Qualifications

• Prev. Catering Assistant experience; experience in education advantageous.
• Food Safety and Food Allergen qualifications, or willingness to obtain them.
• Enhanced DBS check with child barring or willingness to obtain one.

• Ability to work in fast-paced catering environments.

Responsibilities

• Support Chef/Catering Manager and kitchen teams.
• Assist with preparation and service of hot and cold food items.
• Assist with food service for children, liaising with teachers and care workers.
• Operate tills and handle payments where required.
• Clear down and close units at end of shifts.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
• Follow food safety and allergen legislation at all times.
• Ensure service areas remain clean, organised and well stocked.
• Work closely with school staff to deliver an efficient service.
