Berkeley Scott Recruitment is recruiting Catering Assistants and Kitchen Assistants for school catering roles in Sevenoaks. Roles offer term-time opportunities with school hours and weekly pay. Responsabilidades

• Support the Chef, Catering Manager and wider kitchen team.
• Assist with the preparation and service of hot and cold meals.
• Serve food to pupils and staff with high service standards.
• Liaise with teachers and school staff to ensure a smooth meal service.
• Operate tills and handle payments where required.
• Clean and clear kitchen and dining areas after service.
• Maintain high standards of food hygiene and kitchen safety.
• Follow allergen guidelines and food safety procedures.
• Keep service areas clean, organised and well stocked.

Key Responsibilities

• Supporting the Chef, Catering Manager and wider kitchen team.

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience as a Catering Assistant, Kitchen Assistant or Food Service Assistant. School catering experience is advantageous.
• Food Safety and Food Allergen qualifications, or willingness to complete the required training.
• An Enhanced DBS check covering the child workforce, including the relevant barred list check where required, or willingness to obtain one.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced catering environment.
• A reliable, positive and professional attitude.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• A passion for delivering excellent service and supporting busy school catering operations.
