Aspens Services Ltd is a market-leading contract catering company specialising in school food. By combining our understanding of the education sector and current food trends, we encourage creativity and excitement in our kitchens, enabling our teams to provide fantastic food experiences for children.

To support our growth, we are seeking a Catering Assistant to join our team.

The Role

As a Catering Assistant, you will support the team with basic food preparation and deliver excellent service to students and staff.

Your Responsibilities

• Operate the tills during service (full training provided)
• Perform cleaning duties within the kitchen
• Ensure health and safety compliance
• Provide friendly and polite customer service

About You

We are looking for someone passionate about delivering exceptional food and service, with the following skills and experience:

• Previous catering experience
• Experience working as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Food Hygiene Level 2 (training provided if not already held)
• Basic knowledge of health and safety practices
