Job summary

Impact Food Group (IFG) is seeking a Catering Assistant for Sawston Village College, Cambridge. Working Monday to Friday, 9am–3pm (30 hours per week) during 37 weeks of term time.

You will join our catering team to provide friendly, efficient service, assist in food preparation, serve at the counter, and help keep areas clean and safe. DBS check will be required.

• Excellent customer service skills, ideally from catering or retail backgrounds.

About The Role

Job Title: Catering Assistant

School Location: Sawston Village College, Cambridge, CB22 3BP

Working Days: Monday to Friday

Shifts & Working hours: 9am-3pm (30 hours per week)

Working Weeks: 37 weeks per year (term time only)

Pay Details: £15,633.30 per Annum

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Work as part of the catering team to provide a friendly, efficient, and hygienic service.
• Assist in preparing food and snacks for the site.
• Serve customers at the counter and operate the till.
• Keep kitchen and dining areas clean, tidy, and safe at all times.
