Job summary

Impact Food Group in Gainsborough is hiring a Catering Assistant for Queen Elizabeth's High School. You will work 11am–2pm, Monday to Friday, 15 hours per week during term time, providing friendly, hygienic service alongside the catering team.

The role involves assisting with food preparation, serving customers, and keeping kitchens and dining areas clean. A background in catering or retail is welcome, but a positive attitude and good customer service are key.

About the role

Job Title: Catering Assistant

School Location: Queen Elizabeth's High School , Gainsborough, DN21 2ST

Working Days: Monday to Friday

Shifts & Working hours: 11am-2pm (15hours per week) some flexibility required

Working Weeks: 38 weeks per year (term time only)

Pay Details: £8,007.30 per Annum

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Work as part of the catering team to provide a friendly, efficient, and hygienic service.
• Assist in preparing food and snacks for the site.
• Serve customers at the counter and operate the till.
• Keep kitchen and dining areas clean, tidy, and safe at all times.
