Job summary

NHS Property Services is seeking a Catering Assistant for a six-month fixed-term role at East Cleveland Primary Care Hospital. The post is part-time (10.5 hours per week) on a two-week rota of short late-afternoon shifts.

• Clean kitchen, catering and dining areas using a clean as you go approach.
• Receive, store and rotate stock safely and efficiently.
• Operate catering equipment safely and report faults or concerns.
• Support colleagues and work collaboratively within the catering team.
• Help create a positive experience for patients, visitors and colleagues.

The role centres on preparing and serving food and drinks for patients, visitors and staff, alongside cleaning, stock handling and strict food safety.
