Job summary

Compass Group UK&I Defence, Government and Energy services is seeking an Assistant (Zero Hours) to support Defence operations with casual, 0-hour contracts and a 50.2 week year. You will learn brewing methods, deliver high-quality drinks, and work across a busy setting while ensuring excellent customer service.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Preparing perfectly blended drinks and serving high-quality food that delights our customers
• Keeping the bar area clean
• Receiving and processing payments (cash and credit cards)
• Being an enthusiastic team player and excellent communicator
• Maintaining stock of clean mugs and plates
• Learning about brewing methods, beverage blends, food preparation and presentation techniques
• Check if brewing equipment operates properly and report any maintenance needs
• Representing Defence and maintaining a positive brand image
• Complying with Food Handling & Hygiene standards
• Complying with Health & Safety regulations

We're currently recruiting a dedicated Assistant (Zero Hours) to help ensure the smooth running of the operations in Defence on a permanent casual basis, contracted to 0 hours per week.
