Qualifikationen

• Previous experience as Catering Assistant, Kitchen Assistant or Food Service Assistant; school catering is advantageous.
• Food Safety and Food Allergen qualifications, or willingness to complete training.
• Enhanced DBS check covering the child workforce, or willingness to obtain one.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced catering environment.
• Reliable, positive and professional attitude; able to work independently and in a team.
• Passion for delivering excellent service in busy school catering operations.

• Supporting the Chef, Catering Manager and wider kitchen team.
• Assisting with the preparation and service of hot and cold meals.
• Serving food to pupils and staff while maintaining excellent customer service.
• Liaising with teachers and school staff to ensure a smooth meal service.
• Operating tills and handling payments where required.
• Cleaning and clearing down kitchen and dining areas after service.
• Maintaining high standards of food hygiene, cleanliness and kitchen safety.
• Following food safety procedures and allergen guidelines at all times.
• Keeping food service areas clean, organised and well stocked.
