Job summary

CH&CO, part of Compass Group UK&I, is seeking a driven Barista on a full-time basis (35 hours per week) to craft beautifully blended drinks and deliver first-class service in Oxford. You’ll gain development opportunities in a company that values individuality and rewards dedication.

Your duties include preparing drinks, keeping the bar clean, processing payments, and learning brewing methods while representing CH&CO and maintaining brand standards. 5 out of 7 shifts.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in customer service is desirable.
• Hands-on experience with brewing equipment is preferred.
• Excellent communication and reliability are required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare drinks and serve high-quality beverages to customers.
• Keep the bar area clean and stocked with essentials.
• Receive and process payments (cash and card).
• Be an enthusiastic team player and effective communicator.
• Maintain stock of mugs and plates and learn brewing methods.
• Check equipment operation and report maintenance needs.
• Represent CH&CO and uphold brand image.
• Adhere to Food Handling and Health & Safety standards.

We're currently recruiting a driven Barista to help us create beautifully crafted drinks for CH&CO on a full time basis, contracted to 35 hours per week. As a Barista, you will use your skills to deliver first-class service and perfectly crafted coffees to our customers. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Preparing perfectly blended drinks and serving high-quality food that delights our customers
• Keeping the bar area clean
• Receiving and processing payments (cash and credit cards)
• Being an enthusiastic team player and excellent communicator
• Maintaining stock of clean mugs and plates
• Learning about brewing methods, beverage blends, food preparation and presentation techniques
• Check if brewing equipment operates properly and report any maintenance needs
• Representing CH&CO and maintaining a positive brand image
• Complying with Food Handling & Hygiene standards
• Complying with Health & Safety regulations
