Job summary

A leading catering service provider in the United Kingdom is seeking Catering Assistants to join their team at the Hill Dickinson Stadium in Liverpool. The successful candidates will assist with food preparation, adhere to food safety standards, and maintain cleanliness in a fast-paced environment. Previous kitchen experience is preferred but not essential. This role offers a competitive hourly rate and the chance to be part of the first season at the NEW STADIUM.

The impressive brand-new Hill Dickinson Stadium, home of Everton FC, located on Bramley-Moore dock, Liverpool, is set to be one of the most revolutionary and advanced venues for fan experience in Europe. Serving 52,888 fans per matchday, the mission is to set the standard for excellence and create exceptional experiences for Evertonians and non-match day visitors to the site.

We currently have an opportunity for Catering Assistants to join our amazing team at Aramark who are delivering all food and beverage services into the Hill Dickinson Stadium.

Job Responsibilities

Food Preparation & Cooking

• Assist chefs with daily food preparation, including chopping, peeling, portioning, and assembling ingredients.
• Carry out basic cooking tasks under supervision (e.g., preparing simple dishes, operating basic kitchen equipment, reheating items, monitoring cooking times).
• Follow recipes and instructions to ensure consistency and quality.
• Plate or package food items in line with service standards.
• Help maintain a clean, safe, and organised kitchen environment.
• Set up and restock workstations with necessary ingredients and equipment.
• Assist with receiving, checking, and storing deliveries.
• Work with kitchen porters to ensure dishes, utensils, and preparation areas are kept clean and hygienic.

Food Safety & Compliance

• Follow all food hygiene and safety guidelines, including proper storage, labelling, and rotation.
• Adhere to allergen, dietary, and portion-control requirements.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and sanitation at all times.

Qualifications
