Job summary

Impact Food Group in Blackpool is seeking a Catering Assistant to join the school meals team. You will provide friendly service, assist in food preparation, and maintain hygiene across dining areas.

Working 30 hours per week during term time (8:30am–2:30pm, Monday to Friday) at St Mary's Catholic Academy, with a salary of £15,633.30 per annum. DBS check will be required and funded by the employer.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Experience in catering or retail preferred.
• Willingness to undergo DBS check.

About the role

Job Title: Catering Assistant

School Location: St Mary's Catholic Academy , Blackpool, FY3 7EQ

Working Days: Monday to Friday

Shifts & Working hours: 8:30am-2:30pm (30hours per week)

Working Weeks: 37weeks per year (term time only)

Pay Details: £15,633.30 per Annum

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Work as part of the catering team to provide a friendly, efficient, and hygienic service.
• Assist in preparing food and snacks for the site.
• Serve customers at the counter and operate the till.
• Keep kitchen and dining areas clean, tidy, and safe at all times.
