Job summary

Impact Food Group is looking for a part-time Catering Assistant to support the kitchen at St Mary's Catholic College, Wallasey. You will help prepare snacks, serve meals at the counter, and maintain a hygienic, friendly service.

The roles run Monday to Friday during term time, with shifts from 9:00 to 13:00 (25 hours) or 9:00 to 14:30 (27.5 hours). Salary is £13,027.75 per year, paid annually, with a free meal on shift and opportunities for staff development.

• Experience in catering or retail is welcome but not required.
• Care for food safety and customer satisfaction.

About the role

Job Title: Catering Assistant - 2 Roles

School Location: St Mary's Catholic College , Wallasey, CH45 3LN

Working Days: Monday to Friday

Shifts & Working hours: 9am-2pm (25hours per week)

9am-2:30pm (27.5 hours per week)

Working Weeks: 37weeks per year (term time only)

Pay Details: £13,027.75 per Annum

What You'll Be Doing:

• Work as part of the catering team to provide a friendly, efficient, and hygienic service.
• Assist in preparing food and snacks for the site.
• Serve customers at the counter and operate the till.
• Keep kitchen and dining areas clean, tidy, and safe at all times.
