Job summary

Horizon Academy Trust is seeking a part-time catering assistant to join the East Park Primary School kitchen. You will serve meals and help with general kitchen cleaning under the supervision of the Senior Cook, working 11.45am to 1.45pm, Monday to Friday, during term-time.

The role emphasises teamwork, reliability and the ability to work on your own initiative. Prior experience in a similar role is helpful but not essential, with full training provided.

Job Overview

Horizon Academy Trust is looking to appoint a hardworking individual to join the catering team at East Park Primary School. Under the direction of the Senior Cook, the role will involve serving food and general cleaning of the kitchen.

Contract and Salary Details

Hours: 10 hours per week, term-time only (195 days) (Monday- Friday, 11.45am -1.45pm)

Grade: 1, Scp 3 - £6,492 per annum (actual salary)

Job Requirements

The successful candidate must be able to work as part of a team work as well as under their own initiative.

Previous experience in a similar role would be an advantage but is not essential.
