Job summary

BaxterStorey is seeking hospitality staff to join our team. You will serve food and beverages to customers in a friendly, professional way, assist with food preparation and cleaning, and help maintain a clean, welcoming dining area.

You will answer questions and support guests throughout their visit alongside a collaborative team. We value inclusivity and a passion for great hospitality; prior food service experience is beneficial, and knowledge of food safety is desirable.

Qualifications

• Experience in food service is a plus.
• Some knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Responsibilities

• Serve food and beverages to customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Assist with food preparation and ensure counters are topped up.
• Perform cleaning duties including dishwashing and maintaining kitchen/dining hygiene.
• Answer customer questions and address concerns in a friendly manner.
• Collaborate with team to ensure smooth operations and a positive guest experience.

collaborate with all other staff to ensure the smooth flow of operations and support and contribute to creating an inclusive and safe working environment

Adherence to Regulations

comply with health and safety regulations, as well as any specific food service or catering guidelines established on location

Cleanliness

maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen and dining areas

Have a contagious passion for food and/or customer service

You draw satisfaction from working within a collaborative and inclusive team environment

Ability to adapt to challenges and opportunities with a solution-oriented perspective

Previous experience in a similar role, especially in the food service industry, is often a plus

Some knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
