Job summary

Conway Group Healthcare is recruiting a Catering Assistant for Merit Retail Care Home Kilwee, Belfast. The role covers running the kitchen in the absence of the Head Cook, preparing meals, serving drinks and snacks, and overseeing daily operations to ensure smooth service.

As part of Conway Group Healthcare, you will uphold high standards of hygiene and food safety while delivering compassionate care to residents in a home-from-home environment.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2/3 or City & Guilds Equivalent, preferably level 3.
• Food Hygiene level 2

Responsibilities

• Take full responsibility for the running of the Kitchen on the days when the Head Cook is off Duty.
• Responsible for the preparation, cooking and serving of Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner along with provision of drinks and snacks.
• Preparation of evening suppers and handling any issues that arise on the day.

We are recruiting for a Catering Assistant to join our team at Conway Group Healthcare in Merit Retail Care Home Kilwee, Belfast. About The Role

You will take full responsibility for the running of the Kitchen on the days when the Head Cook is off Duty. You will be responsible for the preparation, cooking and serving of Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner along with provision of a selection of drinks and snacks throughout the day and preparation of evening suppers. You will take ownership of any issues that arise on the day and manage accordingly.
