Job summary

Platinum Recruitment Consultancy is seeking Catering Assistants to support schools, colleges and nurseries around the Northumberland area on a temporary/agency basis, covering holiday, sickness and vacancy cover.

You’ll assist with preparing and serving meals, help with food prep, keep kitchens and dining areas clean, and follow food safety guidelines. The role offers flexible shifts and weekly pay at £12.85 per hour.

Qualifications

• Enhanced DBS required.
• Level 1 Food Hygiene Certificate minimum.
• Food Allergen Certificate required.
• Benedict's Law Training recommended.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparing and serving meals and drinks.
• Dealing with food prep (meat/veg/sauces).
• Keep kitchen and dining areas spotless and hygienic.
• Wash dishes, utensils, and equipment.
• Follow all food safety and hygiene guidelines.

In this Catering Assistant role, you'll:

• Assist with preparing and serving meals and drinks

To succeed as a Catering Assistant, you'll need:

• Previous experience as a Kitchen Assistant or F&B Assistant
