Stirfood seeks a Catering Assistant to serve meals and assist in kitchen operations. You will provide friendly, efficient customer service to students and staff, while helping with food preparation and maintaining a clean kitchen. Training is provided for tills and health & safety practices.

The role emphasises term-time hours, 20 hours per week, and a balanced work schedule with no weekend shifts, plus access to learning and development opportunities.

As Catering Assistant, your core task is to be the face of our service, delivering excellent customer service with a smile, while getting hands-on with the preparation of delicious, nutritious, and high-quality meals made with fresh, sustainable ingredients.

Role Responsibility

Service Excellence: Work as a dynamic part of the team to create a fantastic dining experience for all our students and staff—you’re key to lunchtime happiness!

Customer Champion: Serve food and operate thetills(don't worry, we provide full training!).

Culinary Support:Jump in and assist the chefs with meal preparation, playing a vital role in bringing our delicious menus to life.

Keep it Sparkling: Ensure a clean and organised kitchen environment at all times.

• Safety First:Adhering to all guidelines, including Food Hygiene and Health & Safety policies.

The Ideal Candidate

Previous catering or food service experience is a bonus!
