Job summary

Places for People Group, a social enterprise aiming to build thriving communities, seeks a catering/retail assistant to uphold high standards at our venues. You will ensure high standards are maintained at all times. You will assist in food preparation, complying with all Health & Safety and Food hygiene policies whilst prioritising the presentation and cleanliness of all catering areas. A large part of your role will be to represent the company by operating a high standard of customer service to all our visitors.

More about you

You will have experience of working within a catering or retail role, with an awareness of allergen and hygiene standards. You should have a good background knowledge of current Health & Safety regulations as well as current food standard policies. You will have a personable and friendly manner and ideally be used to dealing with a wide range of customers.
