Job summary

Places for People is seeking a customer-focused catering/retail position. You will assist in food preparation, uphold health and safety, and maintain clean and presentable catering areas. A strong emphasis on delivering excellent customer service to all visitors is required.

Experience in catering or retail, knowledge of allergen standards, and familiarity with Health & Safety regulations are preferred. Flexible working options are available to fit various schedules.

You will ensure high standards are maintained at all times. You will assist in food preparation, complying with all Health & Safety and Food hygiene policies whilst prioritising the presentation and cleanliness of all catering areas. A large part of your role will be to represent the company by operating a high standard of customer service to all our visitors.

More about you

You will have experience of working within a catering or retail role, with an awareness of allergen and hygiene standards. You should have a good background knowledge of current Health & Safety regulations as well as current food standard policies. You will have a personable and friendly manner and ideally be used to dealing with a wide range of customers.
