Job summary

Mariposa Care has an opportunity for a Catering Assistant to join the kitchen team at St Lukes, Calverley. You will support the Chef with food preparation and storage, ensuring dietary requirements are met and maintaining high levels of cleanliness and hygiene.

If you haven’t worked in a care home kitchen, relevant experience in creating high-quality meals in a commercial setting is welcome. Ideally, you will have a food hygiene certificate and a Level 2 catering qualification or equivalent, and

Mariposa Care has an opportunity available for a Catering Assistant to join the kitchen team in our friendly care home, St Lukes. We’re on the lookout for someone to support the Chef with food preparation and storage, ensuring different dietary requirements are met where necessary, assist in maintaining accurate records and maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene.

Ideally, you will have worked in a care home kitchen before but if you haven’t, you’ll still have experience of preparing and serving creative, high quality and nutritious meals in a commercial environment.
