This is your opportunity to join our customer-focused team as the Council seeks to improve the health and wellbeing of Bury’s younger generation. As part of our busy catering service, you’ll receive full training and opportunities to develop further within the service, including a range of apprenticeships.
We are looking for candidates with some catering experience to be part of a team providing a friendly and highly efficient catering service to children at local schools. Responsibilities include food service, setting up and clearing dining areas, washing up, and cleaning duties. There may also be opportunities for simple food preparation and operating a cashless till system.
We have several term-time positions available. Please specify in your application how many hours you can work and your preferred location. Note that, depending on service cover, you may be required to work at different locations. Additionally, you will be expected to work two cleaning days in August.
