Job summary

Stir is seeking a Catering Assistant to be the face of our service, delivering friendly, high‑quality meals to students and staff. You’ll help with food preparation, operate tills, and contribute to a welcoming lunchtime experience.

Work is Monday to Friday, 20 hours per week, term‑time calendar (38 weeks per year). Training provided, DBS check may be required, with ongoing learning and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• A friendly, versatile personality with the energy to thrive in a fast-paced, busy environment.
• Exceptional customer service skills are a must—you love interacting with people!
• Previous catering or food service experience is a bonus!
• A basic understanding of Health and Safety practices.
• Food Hygiene Level 2 is great, but not essential—we’ll provide it for the right enthusiastic candidate!
