Job summary

Caterlink is seeking a Catering Assistant at Thornleigh Salesian College in Bolton to join a team delivering fresh food solutions for students and staff. This term-time only role offers Monday–Friday work with 16.25 hours per week across 38 weeks per year.

Your duties include assisting in food preparation, adhering to health and safety standards, keeping areas clean, and delivering friendly, hygienic service while representing Caterlink and supporting the brand image.

Job Description

We are looking to fill a position for a Catering Assistant at Thornleigh Salesian College, Bolton. Duties to include a variety of food production tasks. This role is working term-time only and no weekends so is great for those looking for flexibility.

The role:

• £12.71 per hour
• Monday – Friday: 16.25 hours a week
• Term-time only – working 38 weeks per year

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Assisting in the preparation of tasty food and snacks
• Complying with Caterlink Health and Safety and Food Safety standards and procedures
• Keeping the kitchen, counter and restaurant areas in a clean and tidy state
• Providing a friendly, efficient and hygienic service to all customers
