Caterlink is seeking a Catering Assistant for Thornleigh Salesian College, Bolton. You will support food preparation and service in a school environment, maintaining high hygiene standards and friendly customer service.

The role is term-time only with no weekends, working 16.25 hours per week at £12.71 per hour, across 38 weeks per year. Training is provided, and there are opportunities to learn through apprenticeships and development programs.

Job Description

We are looking to fill a position for a Catering Assistant at Thornleigh Salesian College, Bolton. Duties to include a variety of food production tasks. This role is working term-time only and no weekends so is great for those looking for flexibility.

The role:

• £12.71per hour
• Monday – Friday: 16.25 hours a week
• Term-time only – working 38 weeks per year

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Assisting in the preparation of tasty food and snacks
• Complying with Caterlink Health and Safety and Food Safety standards and procedures
• Keeping the kitchen, counter and restaurant areas in a clean and tidy state
• Providing a friendly, efficient and hygienic service to all customers
• Representing Caterlink and maintaining a positive brand image
