Required as soon as possible, we are looking for an enthusiastic and committed catering assistant to assist with the day to day running and operation of the school kitchen at St Mary’s. The position is both challenging and varied. You will need to be hard working, flexible and have good timekeeping.
This position involves working in the school kitchen, assisting in the preparation of food, helping to set out and clear away tables and chairs for school lunches each day, serving meals to pupils and adults, and cleaning and tidying away after service, maintaining excellent standards of hygiene and cleanliness at all times. A Basic Food Hygiene qualification would be beneficial, however, training can be given.
The hours for this post will be:
11.25hrs/week 11:45am-2pm Monday to Friday term time only plus cleaning days
