Job summary

Caterlink is looking for a Catering Assistant at Lynn Grove Academy, Great Yarmouth. The role is term-time only (39 weeks) with 10 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 11:30–13:30, and pays £12.71 per hour. Driving licence is required for the role.

The successful candidate will assist in food preparation and service, maintain hygiene standards, and support both Acton Primary School and Lavenham Primary School in delivering safe, tasty meals to pupils and staff.

Job description

Caterlink is the education sector catering specialist. For over 20 years, the Company has delivered fresh food solutions to pupils and staff at Primary Schools, Secondary Schools and Colleges across the UK. The company caters more than 1,000,000 meals a week. We are looking to employ a Catering Assistant at Lynn Grove Academy, Great Yarmouth to perform a variety of food production tasks along with food service, working on tills, and general cleaning duties in our schools. This role is working term-time only and no weekends so is great for those looking for flexibility.

The role:

• £12.71 per hour
• 10 hours per week working Monday – Friday, 11.30am- 1:30pm
• Term-time only – working 39weeks per year
• Driving License Required

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Working at both Acton Primary School and Lavenham Primary School
• Assisting in the preparation of tasty food
• Complying with Caterlink Health and Safety and Food Safety standards and procedures
• Keeping the kitchen, counter and restaurant areas in a clean and tidy state
• Providing a friendly, efficient and hygienic service to all students and school staff
