Role Purpose

• Develop and implement commodity strategies to leverage GKN Aerospace’s spend for cost and service improvements.
• Manage corporate contracts regionally and globally for GKN Aerospace.
• Coordinate contract implementation through the P2P function at sites and ensure compliance.
• Lead cross-functional stakeholder teams to identify needs and implement contracts supporting business requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Support internal customers to fulfill strategic requirements regarding cost, performance, quality, and sustainability.
• Ensure targeted savings are delivered to improve profitability.
• Develop and communicate procurement strategies for Professional Services.
• Lead stakeholder teams across countries to improve contracts.
• Engage with all organizational levels to gain support for strategies.
• Provide analysis and reports to senior management on plans and benefits.
• Negotiate with suppliers to secure benefits.
• Develop consistent strategies for indirect commodities.
• Use data analysis to identify procurement opportunities.
• Manage RFPs and auctions within commodities.
• Monitor contract compliance and take remedial actions as needed.
• Develop budgets and forecasts for commodities and liaise with sites.
• Implement standardized review processes.
• Align procurement initiatives with strategic goals.
• Demonstrate knowledge of procurement activities and supply markets.
• Lead and influence stakeholders and teams, including remote teams.
• Manage projects and work within cross-site, cross-functional environments.
• Challenge the status quo to find benefits and opportunities.
