Location: Kingston upon Hull, East Yorkshire

ProcureOne is partnering with a globally renowned brand to recruit a first-class Procurement Category Manager to join their team as they continue to develop and grow.

Reporting to the Senior Category Manager and working within a collaborative procurement team, you will lead end-to-end procurement activities across various indirect categories focusing on Travel, Meetings & Events. Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing the entire procurement cycle, including pre-tender preparations, RFQ, tender documents, execution, and contract award.
• Identifying and delivering sourcing opportunities through insight and analysis.
• Leading spend analysis, supplier fit, and market reviews.
• Managing supplier risk, controls, governance, and risk assessments for sourcing decisions.
• Engaging with internal stakeholders up to director level to foster strong relationships.
• Collaborating with business leads to secure the best deals, leading negotiations on commercial and contractual terms.
• Managing contracts and drafting terms.
• Improving procurement processes and policies, proactively seeking better ways of working.
• Supporting the business in drafting clear, unambiguous specifications.

Ideal candidates will have proven Travel Procurement Category Management experience or be generalists with relevant exposure. CIPS qualification and a professional, assertive approach are preferred. The team values collaboration, so a hands-on, supportive attitude is essential.
