Insurance Bond Manager (Travel) - Permanent - Remote

Our client, a leading provider of travel insurance solutions, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Insurance Bond Manager to join their dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional to play a crucial role in managing and optimising the company's insurance bond portfolio and assist in the placement of existing renewals, assist in expanding the wholesale distribution network and assist in further elevating their high standing in the financial protection market.

As the Insurance Bond Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the travel insurance bond portfolio. Your primary focus will be to ensure the effective management and administration of the bonds, working closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to maximise performance and minimise risk. You will also be tasked with developing and implementing strategies to enhance the efficiency and profitability of the bond portfolio, as well as administer the policies on behalf of the underwriters.

The ideal candidate for this position will have a proven track record of success in bond management, with a deep understanding of the travel industry and its unique challenges. You should possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as strong communication and interpersonal abilities to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and build strong relationships with key stakeholders.

To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you should have:

• Hold or be working towards financial and/or insurance accreditations such as, but not limited to ACCA or ACII.
• Have a good understanding of the travel insurance industry and the industry terminology.
• An underwriting or accountancy background.
• Working with travel industry regulators/trade associations financial protection and regulatory requirements.
