ProcureOne is partnering with a globally renowned brand to recruit a first-class Procurement Category Manager to join their team as they continue to develop and grow.

Reporting to the Senior Category Manager and working within a fantastic procurement team, you will lead end-to-end procurement across various indirect categories, focusing on Travel, Meetings & Events. Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing the full procurement cycle, including pre-tender activities, RFQ, tender documents, execution, and contract award.
• Identifying and delivering sourcing opportunities through insight and analysis.
• Leading spend analysis, supplier market reviews, and supplier fit assessments.
• Managing supplier risk, controls, governance, and ensuring risk assessments are applied to sourcing decisions.
• Engaging with internal stakeholders up to director level to build strong relationships.
• Collaborating with business leads to secure the best deals and leading negotiations on commercial and contractual terms.
• Drafting and managing contracts.
• Improving procurement processes and policies, and proactively identifying efficiencies.
• Assisting in drafting specifications to ensure clarity and market relevance.

Candidates should have proven Travel Procurement Category Management experience or be generalists with exposure to the Travel Category. CIPS qualification and a professional approach are preferred, along with the ability to challenge appropriately. The role requires a collaborative, hands-on team player who supports the department effectively.
