Category Manager – FMCG

Salary £45-55,000 + benefits

London Office – 2 days a week

We are working with a reputable FMCG brand with a strong market presence and plans to expand significantly in Europe over the next 5 years. They are seeking a Category Manager to lead the Category team, currently comprising 4 direct reports.

The ideal candidate will have extensive FMCG Category Management experience and team leadership skills.

Key responsibilities:

  • Create and oversee the Category Strategy Development plan, focusing on growth opportunities and risk assessment.
  • Manage product development from concept to launch.
  • Collaborate with the team to analyze market intelligence, consumer preferences, and industry landscape.
  • Partner with Brand and Marketing teams to develop campaigns and promotions for new products.
  • Coordinate with Sales team to implement plans and promotional activities.
  • Currently employed as a Category Manager.
  • Experience in FMCG sector.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
