JD.com is seeking an ambitious Category Manager to lead home appliances assortments in the UK. You will own end-to-end category strategy, build strong supplier partnerships, and shape the product offer for competitive pricing and availability.

The role requires procurement/merchandising experience, analytical thinking, and a data-driven approach to drive growth across key KPIs. Based in the UK with a fast-paced ecommerce focus.

The ideal candidate will have experience in category management and building meaningful supplier relationships ensuring the optimum product offering is developed for our customers. This ole offers a unique opportunity to build and shape category strategies and contribute to the growth of a new and dynamic e-commerce business.What you will do:Support the end-to-end category management process within home appliances product assortments.Support the category leader develop and nurture strategic partnership with international and local brands/supply partners.Analyse key metrics and range gaps to derive strategies on how to improve supplier and category performance.Monitor inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability.Assist on developing and executing comprehensive sales strategies, including pricing structures and promotional campaigns.Develop long-term category strategies which are fit for the local market to ensure customer acquisition and retention as well as growth in key category KPIs.Cross departmental engagement with supply chain, app development and marketing to deliver a best-in-class service to our customers.About you:Procurement, Merchandising or buying experience within relevant categories.
