The role of Category Manager is focused on maximising the profitability of specific product categories, enhancing customer satisfaction, and increasing cash profit.

• Develop and implement category plans to meet sales, margin, and profit targets while ensuring product availability.
• Grow own brand business through sourcing and strategic initiatives.
• Negotiate annually with suppliers for favorable terms.
• Respond to customer feedback, shape category strategies, and improve customer satisfaction.
• Handle customer queries professionally and promptly.
• Communicate category plans clearly to ensure understanding and buy-in.
• Maintain principles of good, better, and best within product areas.
• Collaborate with team members to identify opportunities and improve processes.
• Lead the category team, manage performance, and develop succession plans.
• Adhere to the Business Code of Conduct, promote diversity, inclusion, and act with integrity.

Required Operational Skills

• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
