An established industry player is seeking a skilled Category Manager with over 5 years of experience. This role involves developing and implementing category strategies, managing supplier negotiations, and ensuring effective contract management. Location: Reading area up to 2 days per week onsite
Contracting Authority: Government Client
Contract Length: Required for a minimum of 8 weeks.
Clearance: DBS

Desirable:
• Public Sector background
• CIPS Certification
• Defence or Nuclear background
• Manufacturing procurement background would be advantageous.
• Highly advantageous to have worked in a highly regulated industry
• A confident negotiator
