About the Role:

The Category Manager role is a key position within the EMEA Product & Supplier Management organisation. It involves developing the category strategy and collaborating with group, regional, and local stakeholders to execute growth plans, aiming for profitable growth, customer acquisition, and ROI.

12 Month FTC

Location: Corby (Hybrid)

Role Responsibilities:

• Developing and executing category and technology strategies.
• Creating and implementing supplier business plans.
• Using digital data and insights for decision-making and performance improvement.
• Managing supplier relationships and negotiations to enhance growth and profitability.
• Managing costs and pricing strategies.
• Driving new product introductions and portfolio development.
• Aligning category offers with customer needs and strategy.
• Managing product lifecycle including NPI and discontinuations.
• Delivering KPIs related to growth, revenue, margins, customer metrics, and digital performance.
• Building strong relationships with suppliers and internal teams.

Candidate Profile:

• Strong commercial acumen and experience in a commercial environment.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Analytical skills with the ability to interpret large datasets.
• Experience in supplier relationship management and digital tools like Excel, PowerBI, Adobe Analytics.
• Collaborative, proactive, and results-oriented attitude.
• Effective influencing skills and operational problem-solving capabilities.
