Job summary

Myton Food Group in the UK is seeking a Category Executive for the Produce Commercial Team to drive growth through category insights, shopper trends, and collaborative planning with customers such as Morrisons. You will own Produce category expertise and translate data into actionable recommendations for cross-functional teams.

Work with procurement, site operations and buying to support end-to-end supply chain and NPD delivery.

Qualifications

• Industry background in Category Management within a chilled food manufacturing or grocery retail environment.
• In-depth understanding of the UK grocery market, consumer food trends, and retailer processes.
• Strong financial understanding, including pricing margins, commercial strategies, and gap analysis.
• Proven track record of translating data into actionable insights and delivering presentations.

Responsibilities

• Analyse shopper insights, market data and retailer trends to create clear, actionable presentations and stories.
• Deliver reporting schedules to internal and external customers (including Morrisons), managing range reviews and NPD performance.
• Partner with Commercial Team to help deliver 3-year revenue, margin and profitability growth plans.
• Collaborate with Procurement, Site Operations and Buying to support end-to-end supply chain and NPD/EPD.
• Present key findings to senior leadership and support Category Controller responsibilities when needed.
