Job summary

Myton Food Group is seeking a Category Manager - Manufacturing for a 12 month fixed term contract. You will work with Morrisons and other customers to deliver category insights, data analysis and trade marketing proposals, supporting 3-year revenue and margin plans with a data-driven approach.

You will build reports, present trends, and help shape long-term category plans while collaborating across manufacturing and retail teams to drive EBITDA-friendly outcomes.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of the UK grocery market and data sets.
• Food Manufacturing & Retailer process understanding - Category, NPD & Final Product relationships.
• Financial acumen to support delivery of financial plans and targets.
• Ability to manage and influence peers.
• Confident presenter with ability to build relationships internally and externally.

Responsibilities

• Identify category and consumer trends across datasets.
• Combine shopper insights, market and retailer data to understand market and consumer dynamics.
• Support category reviews, identify issues and develop recommendations.
• Influence stakeholders to launch EBITDA-winning categories.
• Build, manage and share weekly/monthly business reports for Morrisons and Myton customers using data sources like Kantar, IGD, Circana.
• Manage weekly store visits highlighting key points of difference to the wider team and customers.
• Support long-term category planning and secure sustained customer engagement.
• Facilitate aligned NPD and EPD with manufacturing and retail teams.
