We’re thrilled to present a fantastic opportunity to join our dynamic Category team as the Category Development Manager! In this role, you’ll guide category insights, craft recommendations, and drive action plans for our valued suppliers. You will collaborate with both internal customer teams and external Buying and Category teams to identify growth opportunities, support the delivery of the customer’s JBP, and contribute to the financial success of Weetabix Food Company. Working closely with the National Account Management team, you will align customer strategies with our category strategy to support revenue growth.

(Please note the responsibilities listed below are not exhaustive):

  • Have full ownership, creation, and delivery of the Customer Category Strategy
  • Support the creation and delivery of customer JBPs
  • Ensure a collaborative virtual customer team and network (Commercial, supply, etc.)
  • Co-develop, implement, and evaluate activation, promotion, and shopper marketing activities with Revenue Management, Commercial, & Shopper Marketing teams
  • Support internal processes to help deliver initiatives for Weetabix’s success
Requirements

  • Demonstrable experience managing Grocery account category development in a commercial landscape
  • Excellent communication, influencing, and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to plan, think on your feet, and support the implementation of customer recommendations aligned with strategies
  • Insight & commercial awareness with understanding of the impact of category & commercial decisions
