Job summary

GBJ FedEx Express UK Transportation Limited is seeking couriers to represent FedEx, pick up and deliver packages, and drive on defined routes across various postcodes. You will ensure timely deliveries while adhering to safety and legal requirements.

We expect reliability, strong customer focus, good communication, and a valid driving license. Training is provided, with opportunities for professional growth within FedEx.

Qualifications

• Be a reliable team player.
• Demonstrate strong customer focus and communication skills.
• Hold a valid driving license for the assigned vehicle type; 2+ years is advantageous.
• Able to adapt to external driving conditions and circumstances.
• Commercial driving experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Represent FedEx to customers and courteously handle pickups and deliveries.
• Drive vehicles on defined routes across postcodes to ensure on-time delivery.
• Ensure vehicles are operated safely and legally at all times.
• Comply with FedEx Health and Safety and other policies and procedures.

Working hours: 45 per week Salary: £14.70 per hour. Premia paid for hours worked between 7pm - 10pm (£1.58), and 10pm - 6am £1.91).

What you will be doing

• Representing FedEx in front of our customers, courteously picking up and delivering their packages
• Driving vehicles in FedEx fleet on defined routes in various postcodes, making sure customers’ packages get to the right place, on time
• Making sure vehicles are always operated safely and legally
• Following all FedEx Health and Safety and other company policies and procedures
