Job summary

Hanover is seeking two Analysts to support its underwriting function with a focus on Property reinsurance. You will work closely with underwriting and investment professionals across pricing, catastrophe modelling, risk analysis and portfolio analytics.

This role emphasizes strong analytical capabilities, data handling, and the development of independent underwriting analysis using Excel and Python, with familiarity to Verisk/AIR or Moody's RMS valued.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical abilities with data-driven mindset.
• Proficiency in Excel and Python or similar analytical language.
• Experience in underwriting or reinsurance is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with pricing Property reinsurance opportunities and related risks.
• Analyze submission data, history, exposure, and terms to assess risk/return.
