Job summary

Qualifications

• Degree educated, preferably in mathematics, engineering, or a science discipline.
• 3+ years of experience in catastrophe analytics or related field.
• Advanced Excel skills; SQL experience is advantageous.
• Knowledge of RMS EDM and RDM structures or AIR Touchstone database structures.
• Strong quantitative and analytical capabilities with ability to handle large datasets.
• Excellent written and spoken communication, with ability to explain technical concepts clearly.

Responsibilities

• Support the Catastrophe Portfolio Analytics Manager in regulatory submissions and high accuracy outputs.
• Contribute to internal and external catastrophe reporting with timely outputs.
• Work with catastrophe model outputs, processing data for reports and analyses.
• Collaborate with analytics teams to analyse exposure across peril-region hazards.
• Engage with underwriting stakeholders to understand lines of business and develop catastrophe risk scenarios.
• Produce high-quality presentation materials for stakeholders.
