Job summary

The Emerald Group in London is seeking a Catastrophe Reporting Analyst to support catastrophe analytics and regulatory reporting within the Catastrophe Management team. You will help develop and maintain catastrophe and emerging risk insights, contributing to risk management and business strategy.

The role requires degree-level qualification, advanced Excel, and SQL; experience with RMS EDM, RDM or AIR Touchstone is beneficial.

Qualifications

Degree educated in mathematics, engineering, or a science discipline.
Strong quantitative and analytical capabilities.
Very high levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
Good written and oral communication skills.
Advanced Excel and SQL experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

Support regulatory submissions and catastrophe reporting on time and accurately.
Analyze catastrophe model outputs and develop downstream reports and analyses.
Collaborate with modelling teams to assess exposure across peril-region hazards.
Engage with underwriting to understand lines of business and risk scenarios.
Produce high-quality presentation material for stakeholders.
Manage multiple workstreams and meet deadlines.
