Job summary

Rack Native Ltd in Birmingham is seeking an experienced Structured Cabling Engineer for a 6-month contract across multiple sites in London, focusing on Cat6a and Fibre installations, termination, and testing in commercial environments.

You will install structured cabling, terminate Cat6a, test with Fluke equipment, and work from drawings while maintaining high health and safety standards. Own tools and PPE are required; ECS/CSCS card preferred; immediate start available.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in structured cabling
• Strong hands-on experience with Cat6a and Fibre termination and testing
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Responsibilities

• Installation of structured cabling (Cat6/Cat6a)
• Understanding a full CDM Install
• Termination of Cat6a cabling (RJ45s, patch panels, modules)
• Testing and certification using Fluke testers (DSX or similar)
• Working from drawings and site plans
• Labelling and documenting all cabling work
• Ensuring high-quality standards and compliance with health & safety
