Job summary

Farmfoods Ltd is seeking an experienced Class 1 HGV/LGV (C+E) driver for our distribution centre in Cumbernauld. This permanent role offers early starts between 2am-6am or afternoon starts from 12pm, a 45-hour week, and overtime opportunities.

You will deliver to shops, unload palletised goods with a tail lift, and ensure daily vehicle checks are completed. A full UK licence with C+E, CPC, tachograph card, and clean licence with ≤6 points are required.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence with C+E entitlement.
• Minimum 6 months experience driving class 1 vehicle.
• Digital tachograph and CPC card.
• No more than 6 points with no dangerous/drink-related endorsements.
• Friendly, positive, hardworking attitude.

Responsibilities

• Complete delivery drops to shops.
• Unload palletised goods using powered pallet truck and tail lift.
• Collect waste and other items from the shop to return to the depot.
• Conduct daily vehicle checks.
• Have a safe and efficient approach to driving.

Job description

Class 1 HGV / LGV (C+E) Driver

• Hours: 45 hours per week, working early early starts between 2am-6am, or afternoon starts from 12pm.
• Pay: £18.22per hour.

We are looking to recruit experienced qualified Class 1 HGV / LGV (C+E) Drivers who will be based at our distribution centre in Cumbernauld, North Lanarkshire (psotcode: G67 2TU).

We offer a permanent full time position and have a variety of shift patterns available which usually includesat least one weekend day. We may also have some part time work available.

Pay, working hours & benefits:

We offer an hourly pay rate of £18.22and you will be guaranteed a certain number of hours work per week. If you’re looking to earn a bit more then overtime is regularly available.

The majority of our shifts start in the early hours of the morning (between 1am - 6am).

• Early Starts (Starting time 2am-6am) on a 5on3off shift pattern.
